Our beach is an idyllic place for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, bonefishing, walking, or just plain relaxing with a book and a cool drink under our palm-thatched beach hut.

About 15 minutes south of Winding Bay is Rock Sound which, as well as being the site of our closest airport, has a modern shopping center, souvenir stores and restaurants. For those who surf, Surfer’s Beach, approximately 1½ hours north of Winding Bay, is truly spectacular. It is reputed to deliver some of the best surfing conditions east of Hawaii. Even if you don’t surf yourselves, a trip to watch those that do is a wonderful experience.
Eleuthera is justly known for its numerous bonefish flats. In contrast to other Caribbean islands, many of the flats are easily accessible without a boat. For this reason, we know a number of fly fishers who have very good success without a guide. That said, we recommend hiring a guide
Relaxing with a cool drink, reading, walking, beaching and swimming are all at the top of our list.
You might choose to have a little siesta on the outdoor divan after lunch. It’s comfortable and you’re protected from the hot sun, with beautiful breezes to cool your skin as you relax.
